First and Second Graders completed a fun project while learning about modes of transportation. After learning about all of the different ways to get around, First and Second Graders were excited to make their own boats! Living so close to the ocean, boats are part of everyday life for people that live in Las Terrenas so this project was definitely something students could relate to.
First students glued together the wood pieces and added the sails (what a great way to learn vocabulary and have it stick in your head!)
